Osasuna Calls Up 22 Players for Copa del Rey Opener
Los Rojillos will face the Mallorca side tomorrow at 7 p.m. CET
Club Atlético Osasuna has named 22 players for its Copa del Rey opener against C.D. Sant Jordi on Wednesday at Son Malferit. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CET (6 p.m. GMT, 2 p.m. ET).
Head coach Alessio Lisci announced the roster following Tuesday’s training session. The Italian coach will be without defender Alejandro Catena, who will serve a one-game suspension after receiving a red card in last year’s cup match against Real Sociedad. Also unavailable are defender Valentín Rosier, midfielder Aimar, and forward Sheraldo Becker.
Five Osasuna Promesas players have been called up to the first team for the tournament opener: defender Raúl Chasco; midfielders Mauro Echegoyen and Jon García; and forwards Martín Pedroarena and Roberto Arroyo.
